Technology
Country Ovens has specialized, for 20 years, in the dehydration and processing of Montmorency red tart cherries. Our new, computerized, state of the art dehydrator produces a product with more flavor, better texture and character than like products in the market. The oven was custom designed and engineered by our own specialists specifically for the purpose of drying red tart cherries. The design of our oven allows us the flexibility of producing a dried cherry to desired specifications.
Quality Standards
Throughout the entire season, red tart cherry growers production and harvest of cherries is monitored, inspected and graded by the U.S.D.A. Our facility is similarly inspected on a regular basis. After harvest, premium, fancy cherries are selected by Country Ovens and held in cold storage enabling us to produce dried cherries year round. Stringent quality standards continue, during the drying and packaging process, insuring the highest integrity of our products.
Marketing
Country Ovens’ success is directly related to the success of its customers. Our customers know that our finest ingredients contribute to their finest products. We recognize that our responsibility is to consistently produce and market a quality product. With the expansion of our line of products and growth of our reputation, we have now expanded our sales to international markets.
Distribution
The shipping department staff is proficient and experienced, drawing from inventories of fresh product, ready for shipment. Orders are processed and shipped in the most cost efficient means as is required to assure timely delivery.
